UPRIGHT - Strength - Courage - Patience

REVERSED - Self-Doubt - Vulnerability - Lack of Confidence

For the Strength card, I picture Bruce Banner, the scientist with a not-so-tiny anger management issue and his big green alter ego, The Hulk. Strength isn’t about smashing everything in sight (okay, maybe sometimes), but about making peace with your wildest, messiest parts and learning to work together.

Bruce and The Hulk show us that true strength is gentler than it looks: it’s patience, compassion and the guts to face your own chaos without running away. Taming the beast, not chaining it up.

In short: Bruce Banner IS Strength because real courage means loving the Hulk within, not just hiding from it.

UPRIGHT - The lion represents raw instinct; the woman represents conscious control. Strength is the harmony between the two. This card invites you to lead with patience, tame self-doubt with kindness, and approach obstacles with quiet determination. This isn’t about dominance, it’s about mastery of self. Your power lies in your ability to stay centred, compassionate, and true to who you are.

REVERSED - Inner power feels scattered and the calm you usually rely on has slipped through your fingers. Strength reversed often appears when patience wears thin and emotions spill before you can soften them. You may be judging yourself harshly or mistaking vulnerability for failure. This card asks you to stop trying to be brave in silence. Your softness hasn’t vanished; it’s just waiting for you to treat yourself the way you treat everyone else.
